GEOG100

Level 1 Geography

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms A. Mehta, Mr D. Griffiths.

Geography explores the land and the relationship that people have with it. To quote Gritzner, Geography asks “What Is Where, Why There, and Why Care?”

The subject focuses on Aotearoa New Zealand and the wider Pacific region, so that ākonga can grow their relationship with their communities and environments, and explore knowledge systems and decision-making that matter to them.
