Course Description

This course offers the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide range of physical activities, in a variety of contexts. The focus is on leadership, learning about self and society and how this applies to physical activity settings. Recommended Prior Learning
Active participation and effort applied during PE
Is able to run a beep test at Level 6 (5.30mins of continuous running)
Has shown previous involvement in school sports as a player/manager/coach.
Is willing to support the sports & PE department in running activities that promote health and physical activity.
Pathway
This course leads to Sport Studies 200. It prepares students with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain and develop personal well-being, both now and in the future. It also prepares students for future academic and vocational opportunities.
