Course Description

The purpose of this NCEA Level Three PPA Advanced Course is to up-skill our Advanced NCEA Performing Artists and Musicians in collaborating to compose cultural creative items, perform as ensembles, and perform as featured soloists.

  • Produce a dance to realize a concept (DANCE) 8

  • Choreograph a dance to develop and resolve ideas (DANCE) 4

  • Compose three original songs that express imaginative thinking (MUSIC) 8

  • Perform a Group Dance (DANCE) 4

  • Research a Music Topic (MUSIC) 6

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
