Level 2 Music

Course Description

The purpose of this Level Two Music Studies Intermediate Course is to allow musicians to focus on the study of music works in contexts, developing an understanding of the language of music (theoretical conventions) and applying these to their solo performance.

  • Devise an Instrumentation for an ensemble 

  • Perform a piece of music as a featured soloist 

  • Perform a piece of music as a featured member of a group 

  • Perform a piece of music as a featured soloist on a second instrument 

  • Demonstrate aural understanding through written representation
