Students credited with this unit standard are able to explain the effect of significant life events on personal income at different life stages. It will support ākonga when they will be giving Unit Standard assessments based on the knowledge they will receive from their workbooks. Learners are able to describe tertiary study funding options and potential financial consequences for future choices and responsibilities. Students are able to produce a household budget, set a financial goal and review and adjust the budget to achieve the goal. They are able to explain personal financial savings and investment options.
