Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr P. Madar.
This course offers the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide range of physical activities, in a variety of contexts. Students will study how the body moves and responds to physical activity, as well as develop leadership skills in a variety of settings.
A range of physical activities will be utilised to give students the opportunities to learn in, through and about movement, and be assessed against Achievement Standards. They may include turbo touch, basketball, ki o rahi, and fitness studies/training.

Recommended Prior Learning
Active participation and effort applied at Sport Studies 100.
Is able to run a beep test at Level 6
Has shown previous involvement in school sports as a player/manager/coach.
Is willing to support the sports & PE department in running activities that promote health and physical activity.

In addition to preparing students for future academic and career opportunities, the course equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills for sustaining and enhancing personal wellbeing.
